In the photos, I stage of delicious-looking dishes. An aesthetic ritual, in the balance between visual and physical appetite. My intention in this work is to express the powerful dichotomy that exists between our perception of reality and what is real, creating a parallel between what we think we are eating and what really we are eating. 1st photo: "Spaghetti ai frutti di mare". At first look the image is inviting, juicy. But on closer inspection we understand, with disgust, that the "seafood" are nothing more than "Spaghetti ai rifiuti di mare", (Spaghetti with sea waste). 2nd photo: "Pappardelle al ragù" in which we see tablets of antibiotics and other medicines used in animal feed. 3rd photo: "Spaghetti with black." In the image I focus attention on tons of oil released in our seas. The title want to bring together the strength of the meanings of sustainability, very used today in environmental terms. The aesthetic tone of the images also want to describe how in the world of global economy is much easier to pay an impeccable and extremely attractive advertising campaign then sell low-quality products.
