Biography


Helen Luo, a Bachelor of Architecture, a PhD in Economics and the executive director of American Artists Association. Presently she is living in New Jersey, USA. In recent years, she often went to Beijing for Chinese traditional cultural learning and exchange.

Born into a scholarly family in Leshan, Sichuan province, She loved Chinese poetry and painting in her childhood. From 1987 to 2010, Luo was engaged in architectural design, engineering consultation, real estate development and investing in high-tech projects. From 2010 to 2012, Luo entered New Jersey Art Academy for advanced study of oil painting under Professor Zhou Yong, during which his works included Charity:Water, Saint Mountain, Natural Law and Flying Apsaras. From 2012 to 2014, Luo studied the calligraphy and Chinese landscape painting in Zeng Laide Studio and Long Rui Studio of China National Academy of Painting that he created such works as Leisurely Living in Cloudy Mountain, Scenery of River & Mountain. Her works A Family Living on Yangtze River was chosen to be shown in the 20th International Exhibition of Works of Famous Calligraphers & Painters. Her works Nostalgia Series were exhibited in the Landscape Paintings Exhibition titled “Close to Cultural Texture” during 2014 China (Qufu) International Confucius Cultural Festival.
