Biography
Viviana Chechia has curated numerous events, amongst which is Invasioni Sistematiche in June 2008, which involved the entire town of Zungoli, southern Italy. In concurrence with this event, she conducted a house lab experiment for artists, curators and other actors in the art field, Casinprovisando, in her hometown. She has finished her Master in Culture Management at tsm school in Trento, Italy (2009). She was working as a researcher for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Slovak Republic. Her interests include Eastern European contemporary art. She presented for 2video undo a slovack videoart selection. She is co-curating with Anna Santomauro 1hart, a project in partnership with neon>campobase, non for profit space based in Bologna. She has curated during few months MUG10/6 an home gallery experiment at her own flat in Trento. She took part of the European Course for Contemporary Art Curators in Milan arranged by the Province of Milan and the Fondazione Antonio Ratti. She is working as assistant curator for Eastside Projects, non for profit space based in Bimringham (UK).
