Biography
Andrea Speziali was born in Rimini on 28 September 1988 and lives in Riccione, a few steps from Villa Antolini to whose study he dedicated much of his time.
Graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Urbino in 2014, he passionately cultivates an interest in art and dedicates himself to painting, sculpture, photography and graphics, often drawing inspiration from Art Nouveau, offering original interpretations of it.
Andrea Speziali has tried his hand at various artistic experiences: he is a sculptor, painter, designer and art historian. In 2010 he published ''A Season of Liberty in Riccione'' for Maggioli editore, re-evaluating the figure and work of Mario Mirko Vucetich, one of the most multifaceted figures of the 20th century, on whom he has prepared an exhibition and a monograph published by Silvana editorial.
In 2012 he created the ''Romagna Liberty'' project, Liberty architecture in Emilia-Romagna, for which he curated the exhibition and catalogue.
Among the various exhibitions, it is worth mentioning his participation in the Affordable Art Fair in Amsterdam (from 27 to 31 October 2010), the collective exhibition at the ''Wikiarte'' gallery in Bologna (from 5 to 31 March 2011) and at the 14th International Art Fair 'Modern and Contemporary Art of Beijing (from 18 to 22 August 2011) in the World Trade Center complex.
He exhibits the sculpture ''Totem Riccione'' at the 54th International Art Exhibition of the Venice Biennale.
