Biography

As an artist and business consultant, I have combined my passion and expertise to explore the relationship between art and business. The work always starts in a real-life business setting (e.g. an open-plan office, corporate architecture or working attire) and includes drawing, printmaking, painting and photography. My intention is to highlight the physical dynamics of the modern workplace and to reveal the character and culture of each business I go into. Operating as an ‘ethnographic artist’, I build up an impression of a business by drawing in-situ as well as observing and interacting with office employees. In doing so, the duality of individual versus corporate identity is explored and the role of art in the context of modern-day business questioned.
