Biography
Airdance Company member from 2009-2010. He was a scholar of De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde, School of Design and Arts Major in Technical Theater. He started his dancing career in Teatro Baile in 1999 and took his formal training under Brezhnev Larlar. Awarded as one of the Most Oustanding Young Performing Artist of Cavite in 2002. He was trained under the brilliant ballet teachers namely Vella Damian, Nonoy Foilan, Anatoli Panasioukov, Victor Ursabia, Jeffrey Espejo, Dwight Rodrigazo, among others.
In 2004, he was a company member of Filipinescas Dance Company of late National Artist for Dance; Leonor Orosa-Goquingco. Currently employed as artist in "Flow a celebration of life and Dance". Three of his recent performances were "Bawal Tumambay (NO LOITERING)" in WiFi 4 Contemporary Dance Festival at CCP, "Windows to Paradise" ( by Edna Vida )at Cultural Center of the Philippines and "Around the World in Eighty Days" - Asian tour under ABA Productions Hongkong. Other performances includes;“A Walk Back in Time” (Tanghalang Pilipino), “Duyan ng Kagitingan” (by Monnette Alfon), , “Fiddler on the Roof” (by Fr. James B. Rueter), "Intersection", “Reina de Cavite ”,” XIII Martyrs”, to name a few.
He choreograped full length productions including "May Day Eve" OPERA IN THREE ACTS held at the CULTURAL CENTER OF THE PHILIPPINES (CCP) MAIN THEATER, "Junto al Pasig" A Rock-contemporaryDANCE-Musical performed by the VCCPA and "Dugtong-Dugtong na Sumbong: Ang Hukuman ni Sinukuan" performed by TANGHALANG PILIPINO held at The CCP LITTLE THEATER and many other ballet/contemporary pieces and productions commissioned by universities and community theater groups.
Aside from performing and being a choreographer, Arnie is also a Lights Designer.
