Uno il Cuor

Acrilic on a carton representing four women who are speaking of their men in battle and confabulating about doing something to share in the struggle fot the Italian Union ( 1861 ). Underneath there is a vintage, commemorative, postcard with four soldiers in uniform and the beginning of a sonnet by Pascoli ( an Italian poet of that period). Everything is inside two shoe-boxes.On top there is a little bronze statue representing the imperial eagle.
