Suite B.s.A.s.
During year 2009 I spent a month at Buenos Aires, in which I collected more than 7 hours of digital video. That was my sixth time at the city and I often describe Buenos Aires as one of my favorite spots in the world. "Suite B.s.A.s." is a piece about my impressions about the city, about the pulse I was able to capture in the city, about its people and its rythm. I do not consider it as a "portrait" but as a confrontation with my fondness for that place in the world. While I was editing the video, I felt compelled to use the captured sounds as the basis to compose the score; a method I do very often use in my video art work. This was my first video artwork; not the very first I produced, but the first I consider a finished piece.
