Queen and King
Installation 260x220x150: 25x25 cushions made carpet, plastic canvas, paper and embroidered with metallic clips.
66 pillows. 64 form a chessboard now destroyed by a game with no rules and no winners. Two embroidered cushions, King and Queen, strictly related to their position (non-free) were private impulse to escape to the other and the project to be loved. Placed in a precise spatial dimension objectively equal but opposite to each other (floor-wall), no longer able to play (love) demolish the positions to build a trench behind which to hide. They become prisoners of their own needs, the totality of being as the supreme value without reciprocity, leads them to remain in a total subjectivity.
Man is the only being who can make a destruction to that which had posed as fragile and precious. Recognizing the impossibility of possessing an 'object determines a violent desire to destroy it, "love" who surrounds himself with objects in pieces. The subject chose the appropriation by destroying rather than creating something very similar to an illusion.
