La poupee/the doll

From the artist book series 'Mme Andree,' reflecting on memory, time and space, throughout life, from childhood, adulthood to old age. The books are inspired by the story of Mme Andree, a 104 year old resident of Soho in London who was in her own words 'born in France' to live in England'.
Fragments of letters, images, real and imaginary memories of her life as a seamstress are woven together to form a 'visual poem' on the records and nostalgia of a migrant.
