Povera Patria

The animal is the subject of research, but also becomes an outlook on man and on his instincts. Here a horse intent on giving birth, becomes a cruel and violent image, becoming a metaphor of powerlessness and abuse of power, of man to animal, but also to his fellow man. The goal is therefore to draw attention to the very condition of existence between man and animal, placing them, in fact, the same plane, man, like the animal kingdom, is nothing but an easy prey, constantly subject to manipulation of others.
