Edifício MANIFESTO
Building-Manifesto REFLECTS on other ways of rehabilitating Lisbon’s historic centre, focusing on buildings, which because of their location, area, typology, are less appealing targets. DEFENDS a way of thinking and acting within the framework of containment and use of existing resources. ARGUES for a technical and creative view in a context where the most suitable action is one of restraint – akin to acupuncture for urban neuralgic points – that heightens memories and reconstructs places that have been forever for the future.
Includes a SUSTAINABILITY STUDY developed with the Faculty of Science and Technology of Lisbon, and a SCHOOL PROGRAMME for local children.
