Vilga

sculpture executed in mixed media (ceramics painted cold, epoxy resin, glass). My sculpture represent a human figure, a sort of idol with ambiguous features.
The idea comes from a popular catholic legend which tells about Vilgefortis, daughter of an Earl. The girl to avoid a marriage of convenience and dedicate himself to monastic life, by prayer and fasting can change sex.
