WhoamI? II

WhoamI? II

Synopsis Whoami? II

A billowing white long and light dress, perfumed with a talcum powder (feminility, delicacy, fragility, transience of time and therefore of life), a gold high heel (movement, feminility, happiness, life), a white wheelchair (shock - it happened to me) .
Each piece wrapped in a transparent plastic that transmits the sense of paralysis, the constriction and the doubt.

How many times we think seriously "about ourselves"? If we are truly in every moment of our life "ourselves" or do we simply put on a series of masks, the roles that over time have been attributed by the society and the microcosm in which we live. Never or very seldom, and when we ask ourselves the question we are afraid to answer truthfully. We recognize that the profound question we ask ourselves about who we are, brings us to the existential inner suffering of man with no time.

This installation represents a highlight of my life. After a coma and a total paralysis.

Among hot tears. A single question. Who am I? I'll be the girl I have always been, hyperactive, full of life, living life in its frenzy, regardless of its fleeting nature and the with the joy of living of those who are unaware of its fragility, or ... I'll be the other person? Or even not that ...

Time has gave me an answer to live day by day, sucking simplicity of its essence, the marrow of life.

bell' installazione, lavoro con persone disabili e mi ha colpito la tua opera.
Da tempo volevo fare un quadro che avesse come protagoniste le carrozzine, ma quella è un'altra storia... complimenti per il tuo lavoro!
