Foetex-projektet (The Foetex Project)
This photographic work of art is 4 meters wide and contains 1640 photographs of people.
All photos were shot in the same location outside a supermarket in Copenhagen, Denmark during a period of 159 days.
Many of the people who appear in the photos are the same individuals (simply shot on different days/different times of the year).
The photographs of these same individuals are lined up side by side (in vertical and horizontal lines that meet and cross each other) allowing the viewer to explore how we human beings interact with each other and change over time.
This is culture seen from above.
