The image for this picture is derived from a tradition of European painting. While creating this image I was imagining a construction on a vast scale, the image being somewhat mixed up in my head with the Tower of Babel.
This may explain the numerous Christs in the image, as if to represent the many (and possibly conflicting) voices (of religion?). There is also some other confusion, are the figures trying to bring Christ down or are they trying to clime up? In some cases they disappear out the top of the picture. The whole event is being observed and videoed by the space men.

Descent and Ascent in the same image. Till now, they have been two well differentiated subjects in western Art. As noisy human activities opposed to the silence required to personal Pray. Congratulations, it has the quality of classics.
