Press Release: Vespa Venice at Piaggio Museum.

A new important goal for the venetian artist Luca Moretto which with his VESPA VENICE© lands at the Piaggio museum in Pontedera. Since July 2012 and for the whole 2013 the eclectic Moretto's work can be admired in the exhibition hall of the historical museum in Pontedera. Next to masterpieces like the Salvador Dalí's Vespa and the one decorated by Ugo Nespolo, we can find contemporary, strong colors and the music of an imaginative and dreamer artist's work. The work, a 1967 Vespa 50 N is revisited with inspiration and fantasy in a pop way through a personal research and study of material and shiny colors.
“After the 54th Biennale di Venezia, Piaggio Museum is an other big dream coming true” - that's what the artist says - “afterall my passion for motors and colors, that is the essence of my own life, made me work on a piece of italian history like Vespa, and I think it's right that, after so many years and with a new original look, my Vespa Venice goes back home”.

Piaggio museum has about 40 thousand visits every year, and its greatness is the combination of past and present through cultural and artistic routes.
Choosing artists to work on the Vespa Piaggio, organize art events in the museum can be the right way to be renewed and look forward and, why not, it can be the solution to the tough times that we are living in.
