VI CIMICE_2009
TheBedbugworld installation looks like an odd aggregation of elements that remind micro-habitation cells . Inside these structures are placed bedbug-men, who represent the impossibility of creating a social and human connection and a atemporal communicative lack. These social issues are linked to more private fears, that are generated from our relation with the domestic dimension, represented by six desks school, which becomes a poetic reaction, a childish, playful and nostalgic evocation of the passage to another “mental” setting, where a Body-Identity is dissected and dissociated through dislocation and fragmentation processes.
