Video installation
INTERFERENCIA unfolds the ideas of picture, space, structure and change.
The work explores depth and surface with the illusion of a space without corners, a space created by the addition and overlay of industrial matter as an abstract interference.
By the use of grids (colored fiberglass mesh) as a sculpture layer material, which acts like a veil and membrane between rooms. Suddenly, a body moves inbetween, and it intervenes the structure.
The body and the grids mutate into an illusionistic space beyond a real space construction.
In the course of the video work, this space is broken up by a samurai sword cuts, determined and graceful at the same time.
The tension between monotony and change investigates and follows the question after change, as an essential component for human communication, creativity and productivity.
The video is projected on the same industrial material on site (but in white). This compositive element adds a confusing visual effect and let the viewer get involved in the work, between the layers, becoming almost indistinguishable.
The presentation is a video installation-sculpture, a "3D collage effect", which pushes and dissolves the boundaries of the artwork itself.

Note :
Walls must be black, room in black. Layers of white fiberglass mesh are used as a screen.
