ON AIR

From the series "appliances" by Leandro Aragão, ON AIR is an image blower. It is built by recycled obsolete electronics and proposes new meanings to artistic and technological contexts by assuming an attitude of creative recontextualization of materials perceived as outdated.
ON AIR mixes in the same work, the realism of a concrete object, the fantasy of a past-present, plus the idea of a future in which the cooling effect of a fan will be nothing more than mere suggestion.
