Human Installation VIII: Techno Amniotic - Fetus' Storm
At the first one the pregnant woman, through a doppler, invites the audience to listen to the vibrations of the amniotic fluid, the heartbeat of the fetus and his movements to enter into an intimate connection.
At a later time the doppler is connected to computer and other technological supports and all sounds are amplified in real-time: lights, colors, shapes and ambient effects are modified according to the received stimulations from the fetus, thus transforming the external physical space drawing with light.
Normally, the amniotic fluid and the placenta are the first transmitters and conductors of the stimulations received from the exterior environment to the fetus.R32;In this case, it is the fetus who producers variations to the exterior environment and makes possible a public sharing of the connection between mother and son.
Every time the performance is repeated, requires a new available pregnant woman. There are many pregnant women who wish to participate in the performance.
Also presented on the Italian Multimedia Art festival of the magazine Nightitalia Unpublished cultures by Mark Fioramanti with Anton Perich and selected for the Performance Art festival in Toronto, Canada.
