Remains of a Feast

This is digital sketch for a large floor piece entitled "Remains of the Feast"—a gumstrip transcription of a second century Roman kitchen litter mosaic by Herakleitos, "The Unswept Floor". The gumstrip forms are casts of debris and wreckage from a modern-day ‘feast’.
