Remembering A Self: Imprint 3

Remembering A Self: Imprint 3

This is the 3rd in a continuing series of paintings using paint in a Rorschach process to deliberately evoke biological themes. It is at once post-minimalist focusing on materiality and the
painting’s sensual presence as an object, and yet strangely alludes to a pre-modernist and mediaeval-gothic sensibility toward anatomy. I often think of this work as attempting to describe some deep, but barely felt archaic memory of forms that might make the human. These paintings are on silk supports whose spun ‘skins’ bring their own bodily memory to the structure of the painting.

What truly makes art beautiful and give a wonderful meaning? Is the creator's attitude of this life with the others. Wonderful artist is someone who is wonderful in heart. In that sense of speaking your art is a true. Wonderful to see, wonderful to feel.
