The eyes of a horse, seem to encompass the entire universe.
Directions is a painting project, dedicated to mostly monochrome close-up of the eye of a horse. Almost all the paintings are not treated, leaving light to filter through the small gaps between the warps and wefts; marking the transparency of the eye and in the reflection of the light of the world around it. When the rider riding the horse, it is important that the gaze is directed towards the place where he intends to direct it, as if it were a human look at one with the horse and of fundamental importance for directions to be taken.
The eyes are the first filter element of the heart and mind to the interest or love towards someone or something. The eyes are the detectors of a directional signal, reflecting elements of a surrounding world and reveal the wide range of emotions of the soul.
The large eyes of the horse exert a hypnotic charm on anyone is to stop looking at them, they are among the largest among those of all other terrestrial mammals and its view is very different from that of humans. The position late ¬ eral eye on the head allows a panoramic view of the field of view in fact is much broader than ours. The horse, in addition to a binocular vision, is equipped with a monocular vision, which enables each eye to see things different from those of the other eye.
