Blue (my father and I)

The artwork represents the artist’s hand woven with that of her dead father: they turn itself into the trunk of a tree that raise out from their wrists the roots to the ground and the branches budding in a blue leaf to the sky.
The anatomical section is made of resinglass created by a die in rubber of the two hands. The roots and the branches are made of white painted iron. The edge among real and fantastic becomes so transitory; the artist makes use of white to give spirituality and to stop the energy of deed in the silence of the memory.
