A series of 19 colour photographs
For 2 years during Christmas period, Christophe Beauregard has been exploring the fairy world of residential districts, where every night, hundreds of houses are lit up and start to glitter.
Named Las Vegas, Christophe Beauregard’s photographs act as “kill joys” and unveil, not the other side of the picture, yet strange and scary atmospheres perceptible in each luminous device thought up by the occupants of these houses. Deserted from human presence, these light shows seem like vanities without quality : some star dust.
