Superstition

Amongst internal structures of the human skull, is an incredible bone called the sphenoid, which is shaped like a moth. On the superior, medial aspect of the sphenoid is a "saddle" called the Sella Turcica, upon which sits the pituitary gland. The pituitary gland is believed to house the "Third Eye", also known as the 'Inner Eye'. The third eye is the chakra's invisible eye, which provides perception beyond the visible realm, perception beyond ordinary sight and a gateway to the inner realm.
