Each painting marks something new. In this sense they have been like solving puzzles, and serve as records of new understandings. The act of painting itself has become a way of being, there is an interplay between image and ob<x>ject where structural forms fall back or dissolve into marks of paint. Dreams and memories are often combined with more immediate thought processes.
