Sea level is the one of the most dangerous places to be in the offshore oil industry. Oil workers assigned to undertake maintenance down the inside of a platform 'leg' at sea level, risk their lives in low oxygen, pressurised environment to keep the rig operational. The industrialisation of remote places gives rise to a conflict of environmental interests with our own need to consume of energy. Yet a strange beauty is often encountered in the places where human industry meets the land and sea.
