I have been inspired much by flowers recently, nature, the earth, and its connection to divinity. In my latest portraits I have chosen the beauty of the flower to represent finding truth, and the long hair to represent the strength and freedom of discovery. The hair falls like fluid, water, rain and the reflection can finally be seen in the freedom that comes from discovery and truth.
Blue carnations stand for truth, and the openess to accept it; for it is not enough to just acknowledge our reflections, and inner truths, but we must also accept them. In doing so, our inner self flourishes.
