The Crime of Scheilla Weiss is a story about freedom and imprisonment and about chance and choice in the public-private exchanges of normal life. I chose the sad reality of domestic abuse as a metaphor to illustrate the relativism within these interplay and how crime, as a construct, can take a variety of contrasting forms .
