Autotroph in directional light

This is a second image of "Autotroph", with the photo taken using the camera flash. The painting contains tiny lenses that gather and reflect light from where they touch the canvas. In a bright light like a flash, they appear lit up and white. In normal directional light (a spotlight, a window) the lenses will capture the directional light when it is roughly aligned with the viewer. Instead of the white flash effect, the viewer sees a subtle intensification and brightening of the painting colors. As the viewer moves past the piece, the areas that are lightened and intensified move and change, creating subtle movement in the "leaves" of the tree.
