Mom & Pop Art

Mom & Pop Art is a photo installation on screen, inspired by the eponym episode of the famous Simpsons in which Homer inadvertently becomes a well-praised artist after his failed attempts to build a barbecue pit. Exploring issues of the reception of art in a society dominated by mass media, hyper consumption and technological progress; this artwork stages my sculptures inside captures of the cartoon which are broadcasted alternately on every screen so as to rewrite constantly the story.
