Giudizi Universali
Mixed media on canvas (100x120 cm) - Materials: resin, clay, plasticine, paper, plaster, cotton, graphite, ink glazes.
This paper starts with an analysis of the role and shape the contemporary man, as a metaphor of rebirth but also inevitable transience. In this composition, the bodies overlap, touch, touch, producing twists and twirls. In the bottom of the canvas a generating force causes the figures flattened and stacked to go up to find a way out, a salvation run and coveted but held back by wires and cords that lock and block bodies, a set of souls prisoners by plots, atavistic prejudices and fears. The entire media painting is filled with signs, graffiti and minor thickness invade almost all the space of the painting, in a succession of forms that multiplies and disperses light. The dominant white wants to be a symbol of inner cleanliness, brightness and whiteness primitive, while a "rain" purifying represented by a layer of wires which covers the last level of the space, brightens and protects our eternal conflicts.
