The effects of modern lifestyle involve environment emergency, waste of planet resources, spaceships exploring universe, worldwide connection through internet, thus leading to human beings overcome by pressure, stress and constant fears.
Daily life rhythm – owing to technological progress growing faster and faster – has been strongly accelerated in the past two decades by roughly 15%.
The above - and much more – together with the mingling of different and conflicting cultures, are emphasizing spreading of devastating worrying consequences to mankind’s brain cells, leading to irreversible damage. And yet, notwithstanding medical progress in almost all fields, neurological research for damaged human mind seems to be at a standstill, thus witnessing a dramatic progress in Alzheimer’s disease, which has become a real plague, with millions affected, not only in old age but also in younger subjects and no longer strictly confined to senility: over six million in Europe, half-million in Italy, millions in N. America, and projections indicate a more than likely doubling by year 20
