Artemis dressed with a pansee flower-dress pushes away the darkness and chill of the winter and helps the vigorous growing of plants and animals in her kingdom. the cupola of the conservatory and the ancient strange forms of the trees in the gardens of Syon House found their place in this vision on canvas.
