from archetype to alchemy_window and wax house

The artworks in this series forms part of my MA exhibition, a collection of handmade sculptures tracing the instance of the archetype in the human collective memory.The wax tablets were cast with turmeric which stained deep yellow, i let them fade in the sunlight under the ledge of the window.The house is a potent symbol in Jungian psychology, mainly to denote 'self'. Here it is represented in the archetype of square and triangle. it is solid yellow wax, sealed.
