silent memories

I used egg cartons, which are known to be good at absorbing sounds, as a cheap way to sound proof the room as well as plumb discs used by fishermen. I then dripped red resin on the objects and finally sealed the glass cube.

I wanted to represent the wall of silence which often traps our conscience and makes us forget the numerous acts of violence in our country.
Today the silence that surrounds these acts is the most powerful weapon used by criminal organizations to maintain their power and influence.
