Outside In

This piece is an exploration of the ways in which we 'frame' images of the world around us, which are then reflected back in different guises. The photograph is of a wintry early morning which distorted through an icy window.

Hi Anna - thanks for your comment. The sun shining through the window did look like fire as it melted the frost and ice on the window. I was amazed that a photograph could look so abstract and sprirtual. One of the wonderful things about visual art is that it suggests worlds and meanings but always leaves a space for us to bring our own stories and interrpretations.Your beautiful narrative paintings are very good examples of this.
Best wishes,
michael
