Performance, the artist and 3 further performers, white dress, red dresses, seeds, paper
During the opening of the exhibition (Saturday, May 18 from 5.00 PM) three performers dressed in red will perform spontaneous actions moving in the outside and inside spaces of the Garden meeting from time to time the artist to hand her a small package gift containing the seeds. In return she will donate the seeds to the person she will be talking to.
The color red of the clothes of the performers suggests the concepts such as passion, energy, movement, and action and the power of connection that these activate in a community. Actions connect people to people and to their places. In this work, the connection happens throughout the gift. The moment of contact is also that of the exchange that the artist wants to emphasize by delivering a real gift. Every gift should be like seeds: the start of something that potentially grows.

The dress worn by the artist is the one worn by her sister in the triptych "Holy Family", in the image displayed on the tree in the garden.
The performers have been sharing with the artist a study experience on performance practices at Il Vivaio Malcantone in Florence.
The seeds that are being donated in a small package, are sunflower seeds, plant symbol of Tuscany as well as of the the connection between the two natural elements of plants and sun.
