Embodiment
This project for a computer based three channels installation was developed from a documentary shot in 2005, during a fair of sexy shows which takes place yearly in Milan (Italy).
The duration time of the documentary was 55 minutes. Using these video transcriptions we constructed this installation, an apparatus to work through the conventions of the cinematographic and television languages. The three screens projection is tuned to change in time assuming different configurations, like: an unified space where different points of view alternates creating time lags and overlaps; fragmentary spaces with a rhythmical ad simultaneous articulation; a composition based on a balanced, metaphorical structure where different actions take place within an expanded temporality. Through these ad others configurations we try to question the gaze and the codes in this area of the practice of the body.
