Work is "inspired" by the absurd idea of /remote-controlled surgery/, or telesurgery (an actual, but rare practice). To me, this corresponds nicely with many modern forms of communication that are cold and distant and often present themselves as a barrier rather than permit meaningful exchange. In telesurgery, like remote-guided warfare, your hands do not get dirty and you do not have to leave the office. You can text message that the patient, unfortunately, has not survived. R.I., oh forget the P, I'm too busy!

Thanks for the comments. I am trying to have fun and say something at the same time. It is inspired by a bad, but very funny patent drawing.
