Daisy Chain

Daisy Chain represents the IT term that defines the hub system of how information on the internet is transmitted. I chose to crochet the daisies by hand in public places and in the studio and then to unite them together to symbolize the organic growth and evolution of life. The final work will be exhibited at a site specific place in Chicago, IL at the former home of Martin Luther King Jr.'s home during his fair housing protest in the 1960's. It is to demonstrate the potential renewal of a still very economically depressed and struggling inner-city neighborhood.
