Pagine per volare

Pagine per volare

The work consists of a triptych which is crossed by a large wing that is projected in a ivory white sky as if it were a large sheet of paper. The wing consists of colored squares with the colors of the earth and in relief obtained through the use of paper mache from recycled paper produced by the author, the outlines of the colored squares are bordered with strands of paper, using newspaper twisted. The background ivory white on the bottom left presents some swallows stylized obtained by pressing cardboard shapes on the paper mache to achieve a damask background. On the right wing there is a square cut, revealing a silhouette of swallow suspended with newspaper twisted wires . The author's signature on the right is the symbol of B with two overlapping triangles also obtained in paper mache.
The author in this triptych is meant to represent the freedom that reading gives to our mind bringing in wings of imagination. The dream through the pages written many times is the only way that this world allows us to elevate ourselves as sentient beings.

Originale ed emozionante complimenti, la ruvidità dell'opera la rende ancora più intrigante.
