Laughter of Freedom

Sunday, July 9, 2011 in the small village of Duk Payuel, Southern Sudan. On the eve of Southern Sudan declaring its independence from the north following decades of costly civil war, a burst of color and noise echos across the barren desert landscape carrying hope on it's shoulders. And two things linger in the frame: laughter remains the world's best medicine and children are our greatest teachers.
