Petals of Pride - SOLD

This piece was a request by a friend to see how I would do "abstract poppies".
It is a beautiful piece that has so much texture and movement. With the blending of the petals it looks like they are blowing in the wind. A background of white, black and gold allows the daring red of the poppies to be the focus as you stand in front of the canvas. A large scale bold piece, with a heart felt tribute to the Australian meaning of the poppy, pride.
