Snežna in Elsene

Karen Vermeren brought the place Snežna in the exhibition space. Snežna is a Slovenian cave whose permanently negative temperature has given rise to frozen waterfalls. Columns that look like to support the exhibition space create the basis for the compositions of the paintings. Caves are fundamental places in art history, where some of the earliest examples of painting were found.
