VI. Playa Negra

Vieques, 16" X 20" (2012), archival black and white photographs, are taken from my journey to Vieques, Puerto Rico. The majority of the photographs are from my 4 days on a beach called Playa Negra and Playa Grande. The black and white sand blending, retreating and transforming was a visual energy waiting to be captured. The interaction of the surf and angle of the sun solicited this dynamic visual journey.
