multiquadro a due tasselli
Mathematically speaking, each plug can have an infinite number of possible positions, and multiplying these plugs means multiplying the infinite number of combinations achievable out of this one single piece of art.
The result is an artwork that contains an infinite number of artworks, and moreover that interacts and it’s determined by the onlooker, becoming an instrument to experience. The induced movement is an integral part of the “multiquadro” and what seemed to be a kind of amusement, it is instead a reflection on the subtle distinction between finite and infinite, and on the equivocal and complex nature of aesthetic objects, that from enclosed entity turns into field of numberless possibilities.
