The Unforgiven

An almost naked woman drops an uneaten apple as she lies under a mural of The Last Supper in Dublin City. Ireland has been convulsed by revelations of child abuse by catholic priests and physical abuse and punishment of young single mothers by nuns. Forced to work in "Magdalene Laundries" without pay they are only now as elderly women, getting compensated by the religious orders. Female members of the church are not allowed to become priests or bishops. And thousands of women are forced leave Ireland each year to terminate unwanted pregnancies. What is their sin?
